"There are many thoughts and images that rise from me when I think about the pandemic and when I set aside the devastating ones, I get to the one lesson in life that I consider to be imperative in human compassion, which the pandemic illuminated substantially, and this is our connection we have with each other. Everyone, regardless, was affected by covid. Everyone, because we are in one sense unique individuals, had a different experience with it but we all were connected by it. For me, if I can transmit this lesson to other aspects of living, maybe I will become a little more compassionate."
