Masked Portrait - Chris S

This picture was taken about half-an-hour before President Biden's inauguration. I was making a quick trip to the grocery store and was rushing to get back before the ceremony started; getting back into the car I noticed in the mirror that with the mask and hat I looked like a GI Joe action figure or something and so took a quick picture. The mask in this image came from JOANN fabric and was purchased because it matched my winter coat; wearing a mask in public spaces was never a problem for me and became pretty much just a habit until becoming "fully vaccinated". I had what was likely COVID-19 in early 2020 and have suffered fairly debilitating respiratory issues that are only now finally starting to clear up. These health problems, coupled with a family shake-up and pandemic-related employment issues, have made 2021 a somewhat challenging year. Everything changes, though, and I try not to get too hung up on how things are because soon enough they will be some other way.
